Pause-on-reply and other nudge rules that do not annoy clients

Automating reminders is easy. Automating them without burning the client relationship is the actual product. A partner will turn the system off the first time a trader gets a ping at 23:40 for a purchase register.

Fyliio quiet hours are 21:00–09:00 IST. Cadence that would have fired overnight is scheduled into the next window. The first request goes out 7 days before the due date, then reminders at 4, 2, and 1 day before — not a daily drumbeat.

Any reply from the client pauses reminders for twelve hours. “Kal bhejta hun” is not a document, but it is a human signal. The conversation history still records it, and the dashboard shows how long each client has been silent.

When every item is received or waived, reminders stop. Complete means stop, and that rule matters as much as the first message. WhatsApp’s own rules — a 24-hour window for free-form replies and daily limits per business number — also cap how many clients a firm can message at once.

Staff create each cycle; Fyliio sends the requests and reminders on schedule from there. The rules are a policy, not a personality. Polite beats clever.
