Many practice platforms start with a beautiful client portal and then wonder why so few clients ever log in. The SME owner already has WhatsApp. A second password is a second failure mode before a single bank statement arrives.
Fyliio has three kinds of users: firm admins, firm staff, and clients. Only the first two ever see a screen. Clients send files to the firm’s WhatsApp number, and Fyliio matches the sender’s number to the client record.
That one rule shapes the rest: Fyliio saves every WhatsApp message before processing it so none are lost, checks each one is genuinely from Meta, downloads files before WhatsApp’s links expire, and uses Meta-approved templates to start conversations. Collecting by email is not supported yet.
Staff get what the portal was supposed to provide: a conversation audit, a completeness matrix, and an export. Clients get what they already know how to do: photograph the paper and send.
If a firm wants a branded portal, that is a different product. This one is for the collection layer that sits before filing.
